Stapleford

Here were two famous sons, Sir John Borlase Warren and Arthur Mee, a benefactoress of schools in Lady Caroline Warren, a mysterious Stone, the oldest ecclesiastical monument still standing in the county, and a plethora of factories and supporting infrastructure (a railway station and a canal shared with neighbouring Sandiacre).   We're looking for photos and comments and memories to make this site come alive, so don't be too shy to add your own thoughts, it's easy to do!
