I remember Miss Day who was my first teacher when I first went to Welbeck Primary in 1952, my elder brother Roy Grayson went there 21/2 years before me. I loved it!! I remember a lady teacher who had to leave as she developed TB and I was very unhappy when she went.

I also remember the park near by and spent many many happy hours there. I have lots of happy childhood memories from this period of my life.
