The passage of time, 57 years, has erased much of the memories of that show. But I do remember most of their set, Love love me do, A taste of honey, Twist and Shout and Please Please me. My mother remembered seeing them get off the tour coach and going into the fish and chip shop to the side of the Granada.
What a fantastic memory to have had, I wish I had been there. Was 10 hrs old at that time, living in Clipstone. A school friend Rachel Zarebska did go to that Beatles concert I remember and we were all amazed at school that she got to do that. Always loved the Beatles and play them all the time still. Live in Canada now, since ‘81

What a great concert My friend and myself also went to the local hotel were they were staying to see if we could chat to Helen Shapiro. Unfortunately we couldnt see her , but fortunately we spent the night chatting to the four guys from Liverpool. Paul George John & Ringo A great night just wished we had asked for their autograpghs.
