Can anyone help, please

This picture was emailed to us at OurNottinghamshire with the following query: I'm not a resident of Nottinghamshire, so am hoping someone might be able to tell me where and what this photo is of. I thinks its Nottinghamshire and its been suggested that it may be the Duke of Portand's hunting lodge in Welbeck Park or Sherwood Forest. Can anyone help, please?

This is likely to be a photo of The Russian Cabin which stood till the 1940's close to SK599672. It's location is well known and documented by local history groups such as the Friends of Thyngehowe. Google images 'Russian Cabin'
