The Meadows is an area south of Nottingham City Centre. It is a residential area mainly comprising old Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing and 1970’s built Council Housing. It has a very diverse population of about 9000 people. There is still a strong sense of community in the area and generally residents are very happy to live here. They cite the closeness of the city centre, the Embankment and the green spaces as reasons for liking the area so much.
