Regarding the Collingham War Memorial, I have an excellent photograph of Sgt Harry Sheldon, taken before he left for France, as well as photographs of the original, temporary wooden cross with his name on at Roisel and the later headstone which took its place. I visited the cemetery at Roisel, on the Somme, last year. I would be pleased to let you have copies.

It would be great if you could let us have the pictures for use on the site, Graham.  Would you be able to create a page about Sgt Sheldon on OurNotts that includes the pictures?

Wonderful photo. I grew up in this church and last time I was there my dads coffin was between the choir stalls-many memories
