MORRISON, W [of Hucknall]
Lance-Corporal
From The Hucknall Dispatch, 24th December 1914:-
"Witing from a house which had been vacated by the French people, Lance-Corporal W. Morrison, of Hucknall, says it was a great pity to see the poor old men and women clearing out with their bundles and then the 'coal-boxes' burst. Morrison has done some trench work and says when they come out they are like clay men, but they are upholding the honour of the old county regiment".
