Calling All Local History Authors
Book commission - The Little Book of Nottinghamshire

I am searching for a knowledgeable author to compile The Little Book of Nottinghamshire, a compendium of quirky, interesting or humorous facts organised into 8-10 themed chapters. These could include things like crime, streets and buildings, sport and leisure, transport, work, battles and wars, natural history and famous people. The book should also contain illustrations.
Such an author should of course be able to write well, but must also be enthusiastic and proactive about marketing the book by way of attending book signings and radio interviews etc.
