Since 1884 the Minster church at Southwell has been the cathedral of the Diocese of Southwell (now the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham). The archives of Southwell Minster are held at Nottinghamshire Archives and the catalogue can be viewed at http://nawcat.nottinghamshire.gov.uk
