Raleigh Cymota

This Raleigh bicycle, on display at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, dates from the 1950s and is fitted with a Cymota power unit to turn it into a sort of motor-cycle.

The museum information tells us that the 20cc Cymota powered the front wheel of the bike, upto a top speed of 20 m.p.h.

It could travel 250 miles on one gallon of petrol.
