I am looking for my Sturdivant family.  They were supposed to be living in Carlton Nottinghamshire, ca 1614.  At 3 generations John, William, John Sturdivant.  My colonial ancestor John Sturdivant was here ca 1650 colonial Virginia

I would like to know what info. I could by books, any other research I could do.

I can't travel to England to do the work  myself.
