...and all for just £95!

By Robert Howard

A quick post with a promise of more to follow next week (commencing 21 May 2012). For now, just two pics which capture the spirit of the day and a very public 'thank you' to Dorothy in Nottingham Local Studies Library for her support and coming into help on her day off. In fact, everyone in the Library was fantastic, as were all the local history volunteers who turned up with the local history 'goodies' and displays. A special thank you also to Jo from Lowdham Books; Ross from Five Leaves Publications and Kate and Mike from The Russell Press — to have a local bookshop, a local publisher and a local printer present made this really a flagship event — and all this for just £95 and a lot of effort by all those involved.
