The exhibition’s special focus will be on Worksop’s Railway Heritage, celebrating the ‘North Country Continental Boat Train’ which passed through Worksop Station every day from 1885 en route from Harwich to Liverpool until 1973.

It will also include information about the historical society, and old photographs of places of local interest in the town.

The exhibition will be free to view in the library’s gallery throughout September and members of the historical society will be in the library on the 7th - come along to chat about the exhibition and browse local history books for sale.
